Ordering online in contrast to purchasing goods in person requires an understanding of terms of sale. To understand better the process, and avoid misunderstandings; we have listed for you bellow our legal terms & conditions to help you navigate each step. 
This guide does not affect your statutory rights. 

 

Ordering an item online: Terms of sale.

  1. After placing an order through the website, you will receive an email from us acknowledging that we have received your order.
  2. At this stage your order constitutes an offer to us to buy a Product.
  3. All orders are subject to 'availability' as detailed on the individual product pages within this website. On rare occasions the availability may be affected by unforeseen circumstances. (such as the item being sold through a third party or in person)
  4. For this reason, your order becomes binding as soon as we have accepted it. Given that we had time to cater & inform you of any alternations. (if applicable to your order and that you are happy to accept any new terms that may apply)
  5. We reserve the right to refuse to supply any individual or company.  

Prior to purchasing: Customer due diligence

It is your responsibility to check that all details and aspects of your order are correct and suitable for your requirements. This includes, but it is not limited to: ring sizes, necklace lengths, overall measurements and delivery times.

If you are in doubt for any of our items or processes; we are happy to offer further photos or videos alongside tailored advice on a case to case basis to match your needs. Just contact us via email or phone, requesting further info and we would be happy to assist you accordingly. 

Kindly note that all orders are subject to acceptance by us, and we reserve the right not to accept an order if we see fit, in which case the amount paid will be refunded in full via the original means of payment. This process also applies where orders are placed by telephone or other distance sales.

Any items stated as 'one of a kind' are not possible to be reproduced. If our atelier is not able to fulfil your order based on this parameter, our team will try to suggest a close alternative based on your inquiry & budget.

We are not responsible for any orders that may be fulfilled based on wrong details as provided by the customer. Any alternations or further adjustments will be made with regular charge for the requested services.  

Pricing 

Our prices are subject to change in relation to fluctuations in gold and material costs. We reserve the right to review prices at any time.

Orders will be processed at our published prices, however, in the case of any unexpected change in price, you will be informed and asked if you wish to reconsider your order before proceeding.

All our prices and bespoke quotes are stated in British Pounds (£GBP).

Quotes for any personalised work are valid for up to 30 calendar days. After which a revised quote can be provided on request. 

Payment methods 

You may pay using Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and PayPal. You confirm by purchasing, that the credit or debit card being used is yours.

All credit/debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to or does not, for any reason, authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.

Kindly note that you need to be of legal age to purchase online. If you are under 18 years old, you may use our services, only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

Delivery

  • Stock Items - UK Delivery - 1 to 2 working days
  • Made to order - UK Delivery - Please see individual product page. 

We try our best to work within the estimated delivery dates. However delivery conditions are not within our control. Therefore, we are unable to accommodate specific delivery time or date requests.

  • All UK orders are fully trackable and fully insured.
  • Orders are dispatched using either Royal Mail’s Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm service or DHL. 
  • Parcels will need to be signed for in person, so please state a delivery address where someone will be present to receive it. In the event that nobody is available to receive your item, a card will be left providing you with the option to have the item delivered at a later date or to collect your parcel from your local collection Post Office depot. A tracking number will be supplied via email when your order has been dispatched.

Returns & Exchanges

We hope that you will be absolutely delighted with your items. If for any reason you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we are happy to offer an exchange or credit note within 30 days of purchase.

Alternatively, we will refund a sale made through this website if it is returned to us unworn, in perfect condition, and in its original packaging within 14 working days of your receipt of the order. Purchases exempt from both the refund and exchange policies, unless they are structurally faulty, are:

— Earrings (due to hygiene)

— Commissioned pieces (bespoke, custom and resetting)

—  Engraved pieces (any personalised item)

All sales are final for any items purchased at a discounted rate and no exchanges or refunds will be made on discounted items.

To return an online purchase, please contact info@vetti-messi.com for further details. Please include your order number in the email subject.

We do not accept any responsibility for any items lost, stolen or damaged in transit. 

Please note that the cost of shipping is not refundable. In the interests of fraud prevention, your refund will be issued by the same method by which you paid.

Unique product features 

Each piece of Vetti Messi is made by hand with compression techniques that often lead to unique patern creations. This means each piece is unique and therefore small variations will always occur during the creation process.

This can result in small differences from photographs of items in stock. 

Be aware that your browsing device (mobile/computer) may cause variations in the colour of items shown digitally. This can also affect perception of size based on close up photos. Always make sure you check the item details prior to purchase. 

Our warranty

All our items are hand crafted in our London Atelier, and can be repaired in the event of damage. Maker's defects warranty can cover up to 12 months from the date of purchase. This does not account for general wear and tear, and we are not responsible for any loss that occurs.

Should an issue be determined to be a manufacturing fault within the first 12 months after purchase, there will be no charge for the repairs required. If pieces are misshapen or show signs of damage from general wear and tear or improper care, these repairs will be quoted on a case-by-case basis regardless of age. 

Any structural work or alternations carried out by the customer or by another jeweller/maker will void our warranty.

Gift vouchers 

Gift vouchers are available in values ranging from £500 - £2500.

Our gift vouchers do not have an expiry date & can be redeemed on all items including bespoke consultations. 

They are non-refundable and can only be redeemed at our London Atelier using their unique code.

Repairs

Organic imperfections are part of the essence of the brand however, if you feel your piece has a structural fault, please return it to us for a full inspection. Please note, if the jewellery has been worked on by another jeweller this voids the repair warranty.

Repairs are assessed on a case-by-case basis and quoted depending on the complexity and scope of the repair required. Please get in touch if your jewellery requires a repair or reconditioning service. If a ring has been sized based on measurements provided by the client, we are not responsible for the correct fit of the piece, only for pieces where we have directly measured you in our London studio.

Aftercare 

Our items are made to last a life time given that your follow our aftercare advice. The wearer is responsible for the aftercare of their purchase. We provide a care guide for all your pieces, however misuse can always cause damages. Please contact us if you are experiencing issues with your aftercare. 

Amendments to terms and conditions

We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any such amendments will take effect when posted on the website and it is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions on each occasion you use the website. Your continued use of the website shall signify your acceptance to be bound by the latest terms and conditions.
